San Antonio based Clear Channel Communications, the country’s largest radio broadcaster, will go private. A group of banks, led by the powerhouse CitiGroup, has cut a deal with Clear Channel and it’s private equity partners to fund them with $18 billion on May 13th! The original deal was to be $22 billion but threats of lawsuits and renegotiation’s cut $4 billion out of the plan….Oh my what a loss.
